The Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation has named Jennifer Giovannitti the new president of the foundation. Giovannitti will be the first woman to lead the foundation, which was established in 1944. She currently works as a community development manager for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, which serves Virginia and West Virginia. Beginning in October, she will succeed William P. "Pat" Getty, who has led the foundation since 1999. He will continue to serve as a regional facilitator and become an emeritus member of the board of trustees.
