Bayer Corporation and the Bayer USA Foundation received two prestigious honors this spring. On May 6, the National Science Board presented Bayer with its 2008 Public Service Award in recognition of its long-standing and exemplary commitment to science public outreach, science education and science policy. The following day, the Bayer USA Foundation was honored by the Council on Foundations: it earned the Council’s 2008 Wilmer Shields Rich award for Excellence in Communications.
