2016 Day of Giving To Be Rescheduled

Since inception, The Pittsburgh Foundation’s Day of Giving program has raised more than $40 million for worthy nonprofits through a combination of individual donations and generous match pooling over the past six years.  The 2016 Day of Giving on May 3 was suspended due to technical problems at Kimbia, the Austin-based online giving platform utilized by The Pittsburgh Foundation and some 50 other community foundations nationwide for this coordinated day of philanthropy.  The foundation will re-schedule another Day of Giving for the region using another vendor and will provide an additional $100,000 in incentives to the $100,000 already in place for the event.
