Have you or the donors you serve been trying to make a change with your philanthropy but aren’t seeing the impact you’ve been hoping for? Learn from other funders and dig into the new Ramping Up for High-Impact Philanthropy Toolkit by Exponent Philanthropy and The Philanthropic Initiative (TPI) to identify obstacles that are impeding your ability to reach the next level of impact. Following this webinar, participants will:

  • be able to effectively implement a new toolkit designed for seasoned donors, donor advised fund holders, foundation trustees, and staff who are taking steps to significantly ramp up the impact of their giving;
  • come away with practical strategies for overcoming a range of common obstacles to high-impact philanthropy in areas such as planning and focus, capacity and implementation, and learning and adaptation;
  • be able to share stories and case studies of strategies employed by a diverse range of funders; and
  • be armed with ideas and practical approaches to take their philanthropy to the next level of impact, or to assist others at various stages in their philanthropic journeys.

The Ramping Up for High-Impact Philanthropy webinar will introduce a new toolkit crafted to help funders and their staff to identify obstacles and then develop strategies for overcoming challenges to effective philanthropy. Participants will learn how and when to use this new tool, and in which situations it can be most useful. Through interactive questions, they will have the opportunity to trial portions of the toolkit and will be guided through case studies that highlight examples of proven strategies for overcoming common obstacles.
