The federal Homeless Emergency Assistance and Rapid Transition to Housing (HEARTH) Act of 2009 radically changed local approaches to preventing and ending homelessness.
Marc Cherna, Allegheny County Department of Human Services Director and his staff will update us on changes the Department is implementing for providers in the County’s Continuum of Care. And Julie DeSeyn, Director of Community Impact at United Way of Allegheny County, will provide additional information on people experiencing housing crises.
This will be a brown bag meeting, so please feel free to bring your lunch. Drinks and dessert will be provided.
