Sitting is the new smoking.  We’ve all heard this refrain in news stories about the detrimental effects of a sedentary lifestyle.  Many of us, with jobs that keep us seated for 8+ hours a day, understand the concern.  The good news is that there are many simple and natural techniques to help combat the health issues caused by sitting.

Join us for the first in GWP’s Wellness Series as Dr. Angelo Minella teaches us about how we can prevent problems like neck and back pain and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome by sitting correctly and setting up our workspaces properly.  Dr. Minella will also demonstrate exercises that can be done during breaks that can increase performance and productivity. 

Following the program, Dr. Minella and his staff will stay on to provide 5 minute trigger point therapy sessions (chair massages).  Please indicate at registration if you are interested in a chair massage and Jenny will connect with you to schedule a timeslot between 3:00 and 4:30 PM

Dr. Minella and staff are members of the Foundation for Wellness Professionals and the services they provide for GWP members are free of charge as part of their community service initiative.
