Have you ever been curious about what the FBI investigates and what its top areas of focus in our region are? Join GWP for an “off the record” conversation with Robert Allan Jones, Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the Pittsburgh FBI Field Office. Pam Golden, Executive Director of the Pittsburgh Child Guidance Foundation and a recent participant in the FBI Citizen Academy, will interview SAC Jones and moderate members’ questions.
Pam and SAC Jones will explore wide-ranging issues from public corruption, cyber intrusions and healthcare fraud, to opioid use, human trafficking and violent extremism. They will also discuss the FBI’s priorities related to community engagement, workforce development and community preparedness.
As always, we will allow plenty of time for Q&A and discussion, so please plan to join us for this discussion which will serve to build relationships and foster a greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement in our community.
This will be a brown-bag session, so feel to bring a lunch. Dessert and beverages will be provided.
