Join GWP for an off the record conversation with the new Executive Director of the Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD), Richard Hudic.  Our conversation will be moderated by Executive Director of the Eden Hall Foundation, Sylvia Fields, who is a current board member of RAD.

As many GWP members know, RAD represents a unique national model, developed in 1994 to stabilize support for critical regional assets like libraries, parks, cultural institutions, sports venues and civic facilities. Using proceeds from a 1% Allegheny County sales and use tax, RAD has a budget of $93.7 million in 2015.

Richard joined RAD this summer as its second executive director, succeeding David Donahoe. Previously, he was Executive Deputy Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development in Harrisburg. While there, he implemented numerous programs that increased job creation and community building including Discovered in PA and the Partnership for Regional Economic Performance. He served the state lead on several Pittsburgh projects including development in the Lower Hill, East Liberty and Riverfront Park.

We hope you will join us to meet Richard and to learn how he envisions RAD can best support the region and serve its residents.  As always, we will allow plenty of time for Q&A. We encourage members to share your questions in advance of the discussion in the space on the registration page!

Light breakfast and coffee will be served.
