There's a lot going on at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank's award-winning LEED-certified headquarters. Join GWP members for the opportunity to get a closer look and a better understanding of how our Food Bank works to feed people in need and mobilize our community to eliminate hunger.
We will gather at the Food Bank at 5:30 p.m. to participate in a volunteer activity with the repack volunteer center. Please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes.
After our volunteer activity, we are invited to stay on for a reception during which we will enjoy food and craft brews from SweetWater Brewing, and learn more about the facility and work of the Food Bank.
Further details regarding parking, potential ride-sharing, etc. will be made available to registrants in the days leading up to the program.
