Please note: Because of presidential campaign activity near our meeting location on this date, this meeting has been postponed.  A new date and time will be announced soon.

As you all know, charitable giving through the corporate framework comes with its own set of unique challenges. Corporate grantmakers have multiple stakeholders to consider when making decisions about resource allocations; the corporate setting often requires quick decision-making; and more often than not, corporate giving staffs are also responsible for a larger set of activities than grantmaking, including managing employee engagement programs and the larger “corporate responsibility” agenda.  Being funded by a company also brings with it expectations that the funding area will be “strategic,” and will increase the company’s visibility.

All of GWP’s corporate members navigate these challenges daily, and we have a great storehouse of knowledge and experience available to us through this network.  We invite you to join for us for a roundtable discussion about the challenges in corporate philanthropy; bring your biggest current challenge to the table to share with your colleagues and peers.  We’ll engage in a roundtable discussion of these challenges in the hopes of generating ideas of potential solutions and opportunities to impact our community in the most positive ways.

Light lunch will be served.

Special thanks to Marcie Eberhart and American Eagle Outfitters Foundation for hosting!
