GWP cordially invites all members to attend this overview panel featuring the CEOs of several of the region’s leading foundations. For each of them, transition is definitely in the air: after several years outside the region, last fall Max King returned to Pittsburgh to lead the Pittsburgh Foundation; Kenya Boswell has just taken up her role as the new President at BNY Mellon Foundation; and at McCune Foundation, Hank Beukema is orchestrating board members, staff and nonprofit partners as they move toward the foundation’s planned sunset.
Transitions like these are opportunities for leaders in philanthropy to re-think, reflect and re-group. What regional trends do these leaders see as most important right now? What are their priorities for 2015 and beyond? Where do their organizations plan to invest their time, leadership and financial resources, and why?
GWP has invited these CEOs, together with moderator David Roger, President of Hillman Family Foundations, to share how these three organizations plan to address the region’s opportunities and challenges in the coming year. We have allowed plenty of time for Q & A and discussion, so GWP members can ask questions and explore how everyone’s funding strategies fit together to increase community impact. GWP members also have the opportunity to continue the conversation with colleagues at a wine networking reception following the program.
Please join us to learn what several of the funding community’s leaders are thinking hard about -- and to share your priorities and insights.
