In June of 2014, the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Larimer was awarded a highly competitive $30 million U.S. Housing and Urban Development Department Choice Neighborhoods grant.

This neighborhood development initiative has intentionally preserved affordable housing, with 85 units of new-construction, mixed-income housing completed and occupied and plans for 249 more within next 3 years; 1/3 of which will all be affordable. But this initiative is about much more than just housing; it’s also about health, employment, education, recreation, and most importantly - people.

Join us for an update from community stakeholders and residents on the strategic investments being made in Larimer and the transformation taking place with people, place, and housing.
