In philanthropy, your name can be a branding tool utilized by the foundation to connect and inspire. There can also be a lot of weight to your name: the responsibility, publicity, and hesitance to experiment and sometimes fail. Understanding the responsibilities and privileges of a family name is important, as is considering the implications for next gen who may or may not want to be tied to their family’s philanthropy as they find their own path. In this webinar, hear from families who have considered the power of their name and other opportunities to be thoughtful about transparency and privacy.
Note: National Center for Family Philanthropy Webinars are a resource for GWP members who work with a Family Foundation only. Not sure if you're eligible to attend? Ask Jenny.
