Join us as Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto provide a briefing especially for GWP members.

For this year’s update, the County Executive and Mayor will brief GWP members on current and future initiatives. They will touch on plans for everything from economic development, transportation infrastructure, and the new Trust Fund for Affordable Housing to overhauling governance for the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority to issues in public health and human services.  Julie Deseyn (Vice President for Community Impact at United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania and president of GWP’s board of directors) will serve as the moderator for the program, which will, as always, allow time for you to raise your questions directly with our elected officials.

This program is open to all GWP members and provides the opportunity to learn about the County Executive’s agenda for the county, the Mayor’s agenda for the city, how they are working together, and how the philanthropic community might collaborate with their endeavors to best support our region.

Following the update from the County Executive and Mayor, we hope you will stay on for a networking reception from 4:30 – 5:30 PM.

Please RSVP by noon on January 31st.
