Now, seven months into the global health pandemic, the Pittsburgh region is facing unprecedented economic, health and human services challenges. As we near year-end, and the anticipated expiration of the CARES Act approaches, we’d like to convene for an update on efforts to respond to the ongoing and future challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
We will be joined by leadership of Allegheny County’s Department of Health and Department of Human Services for an update on the county’s current status and forecasted needs related to COVID-19. We will also hear an update on the Emergency Action Fund, which was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation in March to award operating grants to emergency service providers and nonprofit organizations serving on the forefront of recovery.
Speakers will include:
Dr. Debra Bogen
Director, Allegheny County Health Department
Erin Dalton
Deputy Director, Allegheny County Department of Human Services
Lisa Schroeder
President & CEO, The Pittsburgh Foundation
This will be offered as a virtual meeting. Connection details will be shared after registration.
