As the September 30 deadline for 2020 Census data collection approaches, we hope you will join GWP for an update on outreach in Allegheny County and what opportunities there may still be for private philanthropy to help promote an accurate count.
During the briefing, participants can expect to receive information on the activities of the county-city Complete Count Committee (CCC) and efforts underway to conduct outreach and assistance for the 2020 Census. Jessica Mooney and Alaa Mohamed, who are leading census efforts for Allegheny County and the city of Pittsburgh, will share an update on the Complete Count Committee activities to date and ways that philanthropy can still promote a complete and accurate count.
GWP members will be invited to discuss what their organizations might do or may already be doing to address the challenges of ensuring that hard-to-count populations are reached.
The Census 2020 Philanthropic Fund Advisory Committee will meet directly following the all-member briefing. Please indicate if you will be attending one or both of the sessions during registration
This will be offered as a virtual meeting. Connection details will be shared after registration.
We are committed to making GWP programs accessible to all members. If you have questions, or if an accommodation would be helpful to fully participate in this program, please reach out to Paula or call 412-471-6488 and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
