According to research, the age of the purpose-driven company has taken root in the U.S. and will continue to grow in the coming decade. With an increasing demand from employees for new and different ways to get involved, employee volunteerism and community engagement is at the forefront of this movement.

It is proven that employee volunteers tend to be more engaged employees, and reports conclude company culture of volunteerism boosts morale, creates a better work environment, and offers professional development opportunities. Reports also show a clear correlation between employee engagement and employee productivity. Specifically, organizations with high levels of employee engagement report a 22% increase in productivity, according to Gallup.

Covestro and its employees have a long, rich heritage of corporate citizenship, volunteerism and giving back. That tradition has continued with i³ (ignite, imagine, innovate), the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative across the United States.

Join us for a discussion about employee volunteerism and community engagement with Rebecca Lucore, Head of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility at Covestro. Additionally, the synergy between Diversity & Inclusion and employee volunteerism/community engagement will be explored with Dina Clark, Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Covestro.

Following the discussion, a tour of Covestro labs will be offered to participants

Hot lunch will be served.
