The greater Pittsburgh region takes pride in its cultural assets, and the philanthropic community has a long history of making investments in them. Through this network, GWP members gather to learn about trends and issues affecting arts and cultural organizations, as well as emerging approaches to strengthening this vital sector of the community.
During this upcoming session, GWP members who attended 2018 Grantmakers in the Arts conference Race, Space, and Place will share with us their key learnings and valuable takeaways. We will also use this time to discuss GWP’s Arts Learning Network. We’ll take look back; discussing what worked well for the network and what didn’t, and look forward; discussing what our joint learning and activities should be next year.
