Strategic implementation partner. Trusted confidant. Professional problem solver. As an administrative professional, you know more than anyone how important being organized helps you to do your job well. Effectively keeping track of information for others is a large task.  From traditional filing ideas to organizing electronic data, bring your favorite organizational tips and tricks that help you complete tasks and manage your workday to share with your peers.

Join us for the second Administrative Learning Network session of the year in an open discussion where we can share ideas and best practices such as:

  • Time Management: Do you formally schedule time to complete tasks?  Any tips on how to fit it all in?
  • Information Management:  Any tried-and-true filing systems that keep the paper clutter to a minimum?  How do you organize electronic files so they are easily accessible?
  • Organizing Your Desktop:  Your physical desk top and your computer desktop: how do you keep them functional?
  • Purging Your Workspace:  Is your office heavily dependent on paper?  What are the best ways to go digital? (e.g ,scanning documents or offsite storage options)

This will be a brown bag session, so please feel free to bring your lunch.  GWP will provide cookies and beverages.

GWP’s Administrative Learning Network provides members’ administrative staff with professional development opportunities; information on trends and available tools relevant to their work; and an opportunity to network and learn from one another.
