The Community Development Roundtable will be tackling a number of housing-related topics in 2016.  In effort to help us all get on the same page to discuss current housing strategies in Pittsburgh, we have invited Chris Koch, CEO at the Design Center, to join us for a “Housing 101” program.

This program has been adapted from the Housing 101 Knowledge Session that the Design Center produced for the One Northside Initiative.  The purpose of this program is to help us understand the complexities of housing developments by defining current housing strategies and developing a common vocabulary of terms surrounding housing affordability, policies, typologies, and zoning as well as providing an overview of policies and concepts of affordability and anti-displacement strategies.

We hope that you will be able to join us for this informative program that will serve to kick-off GWP’s Community Development Roundtable Programming for 2016.  This will be a brown bag meeting, so feel free to bring your lunch.  Drinks and desserts will be provided.
