Join GWP for the next gathering of the Community Development Roundtable. We are pleased to be joined by a panel of experts who will provide us with an overview of the current status of land banking in our region.
Councilwoman Deb Gross will lay out the details of the recently passed land bank bill and will discuss next steps in the creation and implementation of the Pittsburgh Land Bank.
Deputy Director of PCRG Bethany Davidson will describe the educational campaign PCRG is organizing over the coming months as the policies and procedures are developed by the Land Bank board.
Executive Director of the Steel Valley Council of Governments (COG) An Lewis will discuss the work that the Tri-COG Collaborative (The Steel Valley COG, Turtle Creek Valley COG and Twin Rivers COG) is doing in partnership with the Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania, to develop a multi-municipal land bank strategy.
As always, we’ll allow plenty of time for Q&A with each presenter, as well as time to discuss next steps for the Community Development Roundtable.
