Our urban neighborhoods undergo frequent and rapid change. These changes often force residents to question whether or not to invest their resources in their homes and neighborhoods. And the decisions they make are ultimately influenced by whether both current and new residents feel they can be confident in the future health of their neighborhood.
So, what makes a healthy neighborhood?
Our colleagues at Neighborhood Allies have been working to identify key components that may help to answer that question. Join GWP’s Community Development Learning Network as Neighborhood Allies shares the strategy and indicators behind their Healthy Neighborhoods Framework; the related metrics they’ve gathered; and how their strategies guide the implementation of their work differently in each of those neighborhoods.
This will be a brown-bag meeting, so please come with a lunch. GWP will provide beverages and desserts.
