A Briefing for Funders by Dr. Terry Madonna, Director of the Franklin and Marshall College Poll

A highly unpredictable presidential race, a pending Supreme Court nomination, Pennsylvania’s struggles with its budget – these are just a few of the reasons that elections are on the minds of many GWP members.  Philanthropy professionals are keenly aware that the actions of lawmakers we elect have far-reaching consequences in the communities that grantmakers work to support.

Join GWP for a funders-only program -- just in advance of election day --  from a nationally recognized political commentator: Dr. Terry Madonna. Dr. Madonna’s name will be a familiar one to GWP members.  He is a political analyst and public affairs commentator, frequently quoted in print and broadcast outlets including the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, the Wall Street Journal, U.S.A.Today, Philadelphia Inquirer, NPR, CNN, ABC News and CBS News.  In addition to founding and directing the Franklin and Marshall College Poll, Madonna has served on numerous governmental boards and commissions and, in the 1970s, as a Lancaster County Commissioner.

Save the date and join other GWP members to hear Dr. Madonna’s insights on our political processes and what matters most in state and federal elections.

Lunch will be served.

Please register no later than noon on Wednesday, October 26th.

Special thanks to Richard King Mellon Foundation for making this speaker available to GWP members.
