What’s the best part of your job?
I love that I can help our members connect and do more with their grantmaking by keeping member contact information up to date and complete. When they are able to reach out to other members, they can work together to have greater impact in our region.

March of 2004
Career background/education?
I earned a Master's of Public Administration degree from Gannon University in Erie, PA. I spent much of my early career in nonprofit event fundraising with organizations like The American Cancer Society and The March of Dimes. After moving to Pittsburgh in 2004, I joined GWP as temporary help for the Nonprofit Summit. I was hired full-time after the Summit and continued at GWP for a couple years, until relocating to Central PA to start a family. I continued with GWP as a consultant and then returned again as staff person in 2013.
What do you love about where you live?
I love that we can look out our back window and see deer, turkeys, rabbits and still be able to run for a gallon of milk in 10 minutes. My husband and I grew up in more rural areas of Pennsylvania, but living in the South Hills of Pittsburgh allows us to enjoy nature and the country, while still getting the big city entertainment and educational opportunities for our kids.
What do you do outside of work?
GWP is a part-time position and it allows me to do my other full-time job as a Mom to my two wonderful kids. I spend much of my time outside of work volunteering as the PTG Vice President at our school, running the school Book Fairs, helping with homework and (hopefully) raising humans who will positively contribute to society in the future! In the few minutes outside of both of my jobs, I love reading and organizing.
